Furniture Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our design studio. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing high-end furniture pieces and décor elements that reflect the brand's aesthetic—modern, minimal, and crafted in metal. This role demands innovation, material knowledge, technical drawing skills, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and sketch original furniture and décor designs based on client briefs or brand requirements
• Develop 2D/3D technical drawings using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks
• Collaborate with artisans, fabricators, and production teams to prototype and refine designs
• Research materials, finishes, and functional trends, especially in metal-based design
• Ensure designs are aesthetically aligned with the brand while being functional and manufacturable
• Modify and improve existing product designs based on customer feedback or production input
• Coordinate with the marketing team for photo shoots and design descriptions
• Visit workshops and vendors to supervise production and quality of prototypes
• Maintain documentation and specifications for all design projects

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in furniture/product design (metal design preferred)
• Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, SolidWorks, Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong sketching, visualization, and rendering ability
• Understanding of materials, ergonomics, finishes, and joinery techniques
• Familiarity with CNC cutting, welding, metal finishing, and fabrication processes
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
