Looking for Freelancer. Job Title: Freelancer - CCIE-certified Network Engineer Experience: 8 Years and above Location: Work From Home Work Hours: Preferably 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (Night Shift) Working Days: Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday Off) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced CCIE-certified Network Engineer to work on a freelance basis for high-level design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of complex network environments. The role involves providing Level 3/4 support, leading network architecture projects, and collaborating with internal/external teams for seamless delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN/WLAN, MPLS, VPN, and SD-WAN networks. Provide Level 3 and Level 4 support for escalated network issues. Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring incidents. Create and maintain HLD (High-Level Design) and LLD (Low-Level Design) documents. Manage network infrastructure projects from planning to execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Security, Cloud, DevOps). Ensure network security through firewalls, IDS/IPS, and compliance with standards. Conduct network performance tuning and capacity planning. Mentor and guide L1/L2 team members. Work with vendor TAC (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) for complex troubleshooting. Must-Have Skills: Valid CCIE certification (e.g., CCIE Routing & Switching, Security, Enterprise Infrastructure, or Data Center). In-depth expertise in Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (ASA/Firepower), and Nexus platforms. Hands-on with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, VLAN, STP, VTP, QoS, NAT, ACLs . Strong experience in SD-WAN , Network Automation , and Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) . Solid understanding of network security protocols , PKI , and AAA frameworks. Good exposure to SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG , or other monitoring tools. Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
