Job Description: Assembly Line In-ChargeJob Title: Assembly Line In-Charge Department: Production / Manufacturing Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head Purpose of the Job:To lead and manage end-to-end assembly line operations ensuring optimal productivity, quality, and efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster team development, manage order flow via SAP EP1, and uphold safety and workplace excellence standards. Play a key role in achieving operational KPIs and nurturing a culture of innovation and accountability on the shop floor. Desired Candidate Profile:Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a manufacturing setup Preferred Industry: Experience in Automotive Manufacturing highly desirable Strong working knowledge of SAP EP1 and lean manufacturing principles Key Responsibilities:Ensure smooth assembly line output as per daily production targets Track and improve key assembly line KPIs Lead the training and development of line executives and shop floor team Manage and optimize SAP EP1 Order Management Drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement initiatives and implement SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) practices Conduct and support Shop Floor Management (SFM) activities Ensure compliance with safety norms and 5S practices Identify and implement continuous improvement projects Lead and support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency Key Skills:Team leadership and people management Hands-on experience with SAP EP1 or similar ERP systems Strong knowledge of Lean tools such as Kaizen, SMED, and 5S Data-driven decision-making abilities Excellent communication and coordination skills Strong focus on quality and safety
