Electrical Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer/Service Engineer to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The role involves both technical and customer service responsibilities, ensuring optimal system performance and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and commission electrical systems, machinery, and control panels. Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications. Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in equipment and systems. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. Testing & Calibration: Perform system tests and calibrations to verify system functionality. Document test results and maintain records. Customer Support: Provide technical support to clients during and post-installation. Train clients on system usage and best practices. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports, service logs, and project documentation. Maintain accurate records of service tasks and customer interactions. Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Collaborate with teams to promote continuous improvement in processes and systems. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience:2-5 years of relevant experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, or repair. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of electrical schematics, circuit design, and troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience with tools, diagnostic equipment, and software used in electrical engineering. Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certifications (Preferred):Relevant certifications such as IEEE, IEC standards familiarity, or similar. Other Requirements:Willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Physical ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights. Work EnvironmentCombination of office, on-site, and client-location work.
