We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electrical Engineer with experience in electrical design engineering and a strong interest in power system studies.

Position Summary:

In this role, you will support both electrical design engineering and power system study activities for a wide range of projects, including substations, industrial facilities, and utility infrastructure. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to prepare high-quality design deliverables and analytical reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies using software such as ETAP or SKM.
• Prepare/Support electrical layout drawings, grounding plans, cable schedules, and equipment details using AutoCAD (2D/3D) or similar CAD tools.
• Prepare/Support the development of single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and conduit/cable tray layouts.
• Assist in preparing lighting calculations, and heat trace design packages.
• Coordinate with engineers, drafters, and clients to ensure design accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in North American projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D; experience with Revit or MicroStation is a plus.
• Exposure to or strong interest in power system analysis (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, etc.).
• Familiarity with cable tray routing, building layout, lighting calculations, heat trace systems, and grounding design.
• Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of electrical design best practices.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
