Electrical Engineer Power System Studies & Design Engineering

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Power System Studies & Design Engineering at Kanwar Engineering India Pvt Ltd. in Vadodara, Gujarat, you will play a crucial role in supporting various electrical design engineering and power system study activities. Your primary responsibilities will involve preparing power system studies, designing electrical layouts, developing single-line diagrams, and collaborating with a team of engineers and project managers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of design deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and coordination studies utilizing software like ETAP or SKM. - Create or assist in the development of electrical layout drawings, grounding plans, cable schedules, and equipment details using tools such as AutoCAD (2D/3D). - Participate in the preparation of single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and conduit/cable tray layouts. - Support in lighting calculations and heat trace design packages. - Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and clients to guarantee design precision and thoroughness. Qualifications: - Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Have 3-8 years of experience in electrical design, preferably focusing on North American projects. - Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D; familiarity with Revit or MicroStation is beneficial. - Exposure to power system analysis tools like ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower. - Knowledge of cable tray routing, building layout, lighting calculations, heat trace systems, and grounding design. - Strong attention to detail and a solid grasp of electrical design best practices. - Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
