Dispatch Officer

Job Description

Requirement of Dispatch Officer to oversee and manage dispatch operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for stock management, invoicing, documentation, route planning, coordination with the sales team, and preparation of dispatch reports. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with inventory management systems. Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the dispatch department Stock Shuffling : Ensure accurate stock management and organization to facilitate smooth dispatch operations. Invoicing Preparation: Generate and verify invoices for dispatched goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Documentation: Maintain and update dispatch-related documentation, including records of shipments, invoices, and delivery notes Dispatch Route Planning: Develop and optimize dispatch routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods. Monitor delivery progress and address any delays or issues that arise Coordination with Sales Team & other departments: Collaborate with the sales team to align dispatch schedules with customer requirements and sales targets. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to optimize delivery processes Report Preparation: Compile and analyze dispatch data to prepare detailed reports for management review.
