Knowledge Required : Strong knowledge of Analog Circuit design, Microcontroller based and Embedded product designs, etc. Software development knowledge preferred, but not essential. Excellent knowledge of electronic components and their applications Understanding Electronic circuit diagrams and schematics Good Soldering capability. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Fluency in English & good communication skills. Optional key skills > Corel Draw, CAD design, PCB design, etc. Functional Responsibilities : Product Development from drawing board to completion covering all stages, including : · Schematic Design evaluation · PCB layout tracing as per schematic. · Preparing of Bill of Material as per schematic. · Co-ordinating with Software team for software development as per application. · Co-ordinating with PCB Designers · Design of all Labels and packing material. · Assembly and Testing of Prototype product · Preparation of Test procedure and Jigs. · Preparation of detailed Operation Manual · Training of Production team after product completion. · Support to production team in product troubleshooting. · Preparation of technical Marketing material. · Any other aspect of product design not covered above.
