About the Role:

AWS Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using

  AWS Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, S3, and Athena

• Integrate and process structured, unstructured, and real-time sensor/IoT data
• Ensure pipeline performance, reliability, and fault tolerance
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to build analytics-ready solutions
• Transform data using

  Python, Pandas

  , and

  SQL

• Enforce data integrity, quality, and security standards
• Use

  Terraform

  and

  CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)

  for infrastructure and deployment automation
• Monitor workflows, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and implement solutions
• Explore and contribute to the use of modern AWS tools like

  Bedrock, Textract, Rekognition

  , and GenAI applications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Minimum

  3 years of experience

  in AWS data engineering
• Proficient in:

• AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, EMR, Athena

• Python, Pandas, SQL

• RDS, Postgres, SAP HANA

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and pipeline orchestration
• Experience with

  Git

  and

  Infrastructure as Code

  using

  Terraform

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  energy sector

  data or

  sensor-based/IoT

  data
• Exposure to ML tools like

  SageMaker, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn

• Familiarity with

  Apache Spark, Kafka

• Experience with data visualization tools:

  Tableau, Power BI, AWS QuickSight

• Awareness of data governance tools like

  AWS Data Quality, Collibra, Databrew

• AWS certifications

  (e.g., Data Analytics Specialty, Solutions Architect Associate)
