Costing Engineer – Cable Industry

Location: Mira Road, Thane (On-site)

Masterflexo Cables Pvt. Ltd., a leading name in the cable manufacturing sector, is looking for a seasoned Costing Engineer with in-depth experience in costing and cable design using specialized software. If you're an expert in cost estimation, analysis, and design with a passion for precision — we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for cable products, factoring in materials, labor, and overheads.

• Cost Control & Analysis:

Monitor budgets, perform variance analysis, and support cost-saving strategies.

• Cable Design Software Expertise:

Design various cable configurations using industry-standard software tools.
(Knowledge of cable design software is mandatory.)

• BOM Management:

Create and maintain detailed and accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Supplier Cost Evaluation:

Assess vendor pricing, support negotiations, and identify procurement efficiencies.

• Cost Reporting:

Generate periodic cost analysis reports and present cost trends to management.

• Interdepartmental Coordination:

Work closely with design, procurement, production, and finance teams.

• Process Optimization:

Recommend automation and improvements in costing and design processes.

• Standards & Compliance:

Ensure all designs and costing practices comply with industry and quality standards.

• Software Proficiency:

Advanced skills in MS Excel, ERP systems, and cable design software.

✅ Candidate Profile:

• B.E. (Electrical)
• 8–10 years of experience in the cable or electrical manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of cable design software and costing principles
• Expertise in Excel, ERP systems, and costing tools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills
