Project Duration: [Expected duration 24 - 36 months] About the Project: We are embarking on the construction of a new building to house our library, envisioned as a modern, accessible, and sustainable public facility. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Project Manager (Civil Engineer) to oversee the successful execution of this project. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and supervise the building construction. Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and government authorities. Ensure the project is executed on time, within scope and budget. Monitor construction progress and prepare regular reports for management. Enforce quality control, safety standards, and compliance with local regulations. Manage contracts, procurement schedules, and material timelines. Manage bills, invoices and payment schedules. Identify and resolve potential risks or issues during the project lifecycle. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in managing mid-to-large-scale building construction projects. Proven experience with public infrastructure or institutional building projects is a plus. Strong understanding of project management tools, budgeting, and reporting. Familiarity with relevant codes, safety regulations, and green building practices. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD.
