Position: Compliance Associate – Customs
Location: Vadodara, Gujrat

Timings: Monday - Friday (10 am- 5 pm) ; Saturday (10 am -2 pm )

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Associate to assist in managing compliance related to our bonded warehouse operations under the MOOWR scheme (Manufacture and Other Operations in Warehouse Regulations) as per the Customs Act. This is a field-oriented and documentation-driven role involving coordination with warehouse staff and Customs officials. Training will be provided, but a basic understanding of Customs law is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Compliance:
• Monitor and maintain compliance with MOOWR regulations applicable to bonded warehouses.
• Track and document receipt of goods (imported and domestic), manufacturing activity, and export movements.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of records required under the Customs Act
• Coordination & Field Work:
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to understand and document day-to-day operations.
• Conduct field visits to warehouses to verify records and support operations.
• Visit Customs offices for submission of monthly returns and any other required compliance documents.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Assist in timely filing of monthly/quarterly returns under MOOWR.
• Support in compiling documents for audits or queries raised by Customs.
• Maintain an internal compliance tracker and prepare basic reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Commerce, Law, or any related discipline.
• Basic understanding of Indian Customs laws and bonded warehousing procedures.
• Freshers may apply – training will be provided.

Skills Required:

• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and document handling.
• Ability to travel for field visits and Customs submissions.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
