As a Commis I or Commis II – Culinary , you will be part of a dynamic kitchen team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Whether you're supporting daily mise-en-place or taking the lead in section preparation, your role will contribute directly to the quality, consistency, and creativity of our food offerings. Key Responsibilities: General Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with company and brand standards Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of workstations and storage areas Follow recipes and instructions provided by senior chefs while adhering to food safety and HACCP standards Support smooth kitchen operations by working collaboratively within the culinary team Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting malfunctions as needed Maintain consistent portion control and minimize waste Commis I Lead the preparation and execution of assigned kitchen sections with minimal supervision Monitor production levels and quality control of ingredients and finished dishes Assist in planning and estimating daily production requirements Train and guide junior team members, including Commis II, and ensure adherence to SOPs Ensure timely documentation of recipes, prep methods, and presentation standards Commis II Learn and develop technical cooking skills under the guidance of senior chefs Support Commis I and other senior team members in preparation and execution Take initiative in understanding ingredients, techniques, and kitchen operations Show willingness to take on increasing responsibilities as skills grow Desired Candidate Profile: Passion for culinary arts with a strong desire to learn and grow Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Attention to detail and commitment to quality and cleanliness Strong interpersonal and communication skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Open to working in remote or high-pressure environments Show more Show less
