Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Commis I with a strong foundation in Udupi and coastal Karnataka cuisine. This role is ideal for someone who values authentic cooking, is eager to grow under the mentorship of seasoned chefs, and wants to be part of a team that celebrates local flavors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of regional dishes, with a focus on Udupi and coastal specialties
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and mise en place
• Uphold hygiene and food safety standards as per company and statutory guidelines
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and station organization
• Follow recipes and plating standards consistently and accurately
• Contribute to the culinary team by showing initiative, discipline, and teamwork
• Be open to learning new techniques and participating in guest-facing culinary experiences

Key Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably with exposure to South Indian cuisine
• Basic knowledge of local ingredients, traditional cooking methods, and kitchen operations
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
• Team player with effective communication skills
• Willingness to relocate and work in a peaceful, nature-rich environment
• Candidates from Udupi, Mangalore, or surrounding coastal regions will be preferred
