Job Overview

Innovative Talent Solutions is seeking a Junior Chef de Partie specializing in Indian, Continental, Indian and Tandoori cuisine for a full-time position located in FERN HOTEL, Udaipur. This role is suitable for candidates with up to 3 years of experience, aiming to contribute to culinary excellence in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Must have expertise in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes adhere to high culinary standards (Mandatory skill).
  • Proven experience in creating authentic Indian cuisine, capable of producing traditional dishes with precision and flair.
  • Demonstrated skill in tandoori cooking, employing techniques that preserve the authenticity and flavor of tandoor-style dishes.
  • Competency in preparing various continental cuisine, balancing flavors and textures to meet a range of palate preferences.
  • Strong ability in menu execution, effectively planning and implementing a diverse and cohesive menu.
  • Experience in quality assurance, ensuring that all food served is of the highest quality and consistency.
  • Excellent organizational skills, managing time and resources efficiently to enhance productivity.
  • Strong communication skills, collaborating effectively with kitchen staff and maintaining a cooperative kitchen environment.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in the Indian, Continental, and Tandoori sections of the kitchen.
  • Assist in the development and design of diverse and innovative menus to appeal to a broad audience.
  • Ensure the use of only fresh, high-quality ingredients in all dishes to maintain culinary excellence.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support when necessary.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies to avoid interruptions in kitchen operations.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and innovate culinary practices to benefit the kitchen and business.
