Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and versatile Instrumentation & Control (IC) Engineer who is a master multitasker with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, calibrating, and installing technical equipment and control systems developed in-house. Key Responsibilities: Design instrumentation and control systems for laboratory and pilot-scale equipment. Integrate sensors, controllers, transmitters, and actuators into functional setups. Develop and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control logic. Perform calibration, functional testing, and troubleshooting of control systems. Install and commission equipment at client locations (educational institutions, R&D centers). Collaborate with design, electrical, and mechanical teams for product development. Provide technical support and user training to end-users when required. Required Skills: Solid understanding of instrumentation principles, sensors, transducers, and process control. Hands-on experience or familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and control panel design. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, RS-485, Ethernet, etc.). Ability to read and prepare technical drawings and control schematics. Proficiency in using tools for calibration, testing, and diagnostics. Good documentation and report-writing skills. Strong verbal and written communication in English. Preferred Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines. Practical knowledge of LabVIEW, MATLAB, or other automation software is a plus. Willingness to travel for site installation and commissioning as required.
