Job Description

Position : Business Manager Emerging Markets Location : Mumbai Years of Experience : 10 to 12 years in Sales / Business Development of Industrial Products Minimum Qualification : Graduate in Science or Engineering Prefered Qualification : Management degree would be added qualification a. Responsibilities: Explore new and potential markets for our business and gather related information Green / Alternate Energy; EV; Li-Ion battery; Medical Devices; Semiconductor; battery Recyclers etc. and any upcoming new markets in the future. Establish contact with key players in each segment and gather their business details and potential Meet customers for exploring business opportunities and potential Create database of potential customers in each segment Prepare periodic reports on each of the segment with suggestions on actions by self / sales team Work with Regional Heads to have the accounts covered and build opportunity base Maintain data and records for reports / presentations to management / Principals Track government initiatives / schemes for businesses and explore potential for our business and recommend action plan (PLIs / Subsidies / Business Parks / Economic Zones etc.) Coordinate with Principal s market / application experts for end-to-end solutions for target customers. Suggest marketing and promotional activities to be organised inhouse and by Principals for such segments. b. Key Success Behaviours (Key Competencies): Ability to understand and gather information on varied business Should understand applications pertaining to emerging market Good at business analysis and understanding key aspects of targeted markets / segments Customer relationship building skills Good verbal and communication skills Good presentation and reporting skills Teamwork ability to work with regional sales team, set objectives and review progress Planning, coordination & organising skills Good reviewing skills with teams c. Key experience parameters: Successful sales experience and performance track record Good customer knowledge Good customer relations Good industry / market / customer knowledge in segment worked in Experience in making presentations to customers and management Preparing business reports Team work experience
