Job Description

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the

    US Federal, State, and Defense sectors

    , focusing on

    training, e-learning, workforce development

    , and

    EdTech services

    .
  • Build a qualified pipeline through prospecting, government portals (e.g.,

    SAM.gov

    ,

    FedBizOps

    ,

    DoD eMall

    ), and partner ecosystems.
  • Develop and present customized proposals, capability decks, and solutions to US Government agencies (DoD, DHS, DoE, etc.).

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders in

    government agencies

    ,

    military training commands

    ,

    prime contractors

    , and

    channel partners

    .
  • Lead client meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions with US government buyers and prime vendors.

Strategic Partnerships & Alliances

  • Identify and onboard local US resellers, certified small businesses, SDVOSBs, and defense contractors for teaming agreements and subcontracting opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the internal

    Bid Management

    and

    Product

    teams for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and solution development.

Compliance & Contracting

  • Ensure compliance with

    US government procurement policies

    , FAR/DFARS guidelines, and contract vehicles like

    GSA Schedule

    ,

    IDIQs

    , and

    BPAs

    .
  • Track upcoming opportunities through procurement forecasts and pre-solicitations.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in

    business development for US Government/Defense clients

    , preferably in

    EdTech, LMS, Training Solutions

    , or IT services.
  • Proven track record of winning multi-million dollar federal or DoD training contracts.
  • Familiarity with

    SAM.gov, FPDS, GovWin, GSA eBuy

    , and defense acquisition systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of

    security clearance processes

    ,

    CMMC

    , and

    cybersecurity compliance

    (a plus).
