About the Role:

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the civil construction sector
• Generate leads and acquire new clients through market research, networking, and outreach
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
• Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders, and bid documents
• Develop and implement effective sales and growth strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, project management, and finance to align goals
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and negotiations
• Provide regular business development reports and forecasts to senior management

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field
• MBA or advanced business education is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of the civil construction industry and project lifecycle
• Proven experience in sales or business development in construction or infrastructure sectors
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Leadership and collaborative team skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• Willingness to travel as required
