Business Development Manager Civil Construction

The Business Development Manager for Civil Construction will play a crucial role in expanding the business by identifying and securing new project opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. As a dynamic and results-driven professional with a strong background in the civil construction industry, you will need strategic thinking, deep industry knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills. Your key responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating new business opportunities within the civil construction sector, generating leads, acquiring new clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and leading the preparation of proposals and bid documents. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and growth strategies, collaborating with internal teams, monitoring market trends, and representing the company at industry events and client meetings. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced business education would be an added advantage. You must possess strong knowledge of the civil construction industry and project lifecycle, proven experience in sales or business development in construction or infrastructure sectors, excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Leadership, collaborative team skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure are also essential.
