Job Title: Business Development Head – PhD Program
Location: Kozhikode, Kerala
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Head to lead and expand our PhD Program business initiatives in the education sector. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving revenue, establishing key partnerships, and growing market reach specifically for our doctoral-level offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background (preferably a PhD), exceptional leadership qualities, and deep experience in educational business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Growth Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive strategies to drive admissions and collaborations for the PhD program.
  • Program Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in higher education, including universities, research institutes, and corporate academic tie-ups.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a business development team towards achieving aggressive growth targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build lasting relationships with academic heads, institutional decision-makers, and research leaders.
  • Strategic Alliances: Develop partnerships with educational institutions and corporates to enhance program reach and value.
  • Sales Management: Achieve enrollment and revenue targets through structured planning and lead management.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on PhD education trends, UGC/AICTE norms, and global academic standards.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with academic, marketing, and operations teams to align goals.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on performance, challenges, and recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Mandatory Qualification: Master’s Degree or PhD (PhD Preferred).
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in business development, preferably in higher education.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a business development team.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
  • Solid understanding of the Indian and international higher education landscape.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and digital communication tools.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: ₹30,000– ₹35,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
