Auxiliary Automation Engineer -HVDC

The opportunity:

HMI / DCS Development, Database creation, Gateway server configuration, technical co-ordination, make sure the SCADA system works with customer requirements along with Hitachi standards

How you’ll make an impact

• Responsible for the continuous improvement of HVDC HMI systems and the development of DCS/HMI applications using ABB 800xA software.

• Design & develop a secured network overall architecture for DCS / HMI system for AC Substation and HVDC projects & integration of Aux Automation systems (CCTV , HVAC, ACS, Intrusion System, etc)

• Technical co-ordinations with sub suppliers and multiple stakeholders in different locations

• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure components including routers, firewalls, switches, servers, and workstations, along with basic networking skills; proficient in creating templates, faceplates, and popups in ABB 800xA .

• Actively collaborates with departments and stakeholders to define the division of work; involved in FAT/SAT activities with sub-suppliers; and provides technical support on-site during the commissioning phase of projects.

• Evaluate and strengthen the security of any connections to the DCS / SCADA / HMI network.

• Able to lead the automation projects and guide / mentor within the team for the business requirements.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Have Bachelors / Masters in ECE / EEE// E&I with a minimum Project work experience of 14+ years in Subs Station.

• You have minimum 13 years of working experience from the substation automation projects in India / other country locations.

• You are an engaged person who thrives in a constantly changing environment and enjoys collaboration with employees, peers and beyond.

• You must have knowledge in ABB DCA 800xA, Hitachi Energy RTU along with Knowledge & Experience MS Office ie. Word, Excel

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.
