Job Description

As a Tester for the Funds Data Migration (SFD) project, you will play a critical role in building automation frameworks, validating UI-backend consistency, and ensuring high-quality releases in a greenfield project. You'll work closely with a globally distributed team in a SAFe environment and contribute across all testing dimensions—functional, non-functional, and UI.

Your tasks

Creating UI automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright (TypeScript)
Testing end-to-end UI-to-database data flow for synchronization accuracy
Executing non-functional tests such as performance, scalability, and security
Translating business requirements into automated and maintainable test cases
Collaborating with developers and BAs in SAFe Agile 2-week sprint cycles
Identifying requirements or design gaps from a QA perspective
Conducting cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing
Communicating risks, blockers, and progress proactively to the team
Working effectively with multicultural teams across global time zones
Adapting to evolving scope and requirements in a dynamic project setup

Requirements

Strong experience with automation framework creation from scratch
Hands-on expertise in Playwright and TypeScript
Good knowledge of backend data validation and database testing
Solid understanding of non-functional testing (performance, security, scalability)
Ability to translate business requirements into automated test cases
Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology and sprint-based delivery
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Proficiency in cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Comfort with dynamic environments and greenfield project setup
Capability to work effectively with distributed and multicultural teams

Nice to have

Familiarity with financial data structures such as funds and holdings
Experience with visual regression testing tools and techniques
