We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with a strong foundation in Java and Selenium for automation testing, alongside robust manual testing expertise. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing automated and manual tests to ensure the high standard of our applications.

Experience : 5 to 7 Years

Location : Chennai

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficiency.
• Perform thorough manual testing of applications to identify defects, ensuring high quality product delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to gather requirements and design test cases.

• Perform Load testing using JMeter.

• Analyze test results, identify trends, and report detailed findings to relevant stakeholders, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation scripts and frameworks, ensuring seamless operation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to continuously improve the automation framework and manual testing practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends in testing, advocating for best practices and tool enhancements when necessary.
• Document and track defects and testing progress in detail to ensure clear communication with development teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in both automation and manual testing.
• Strong expertise in Java and Selenium for developing and executing test scripts.
• Strong expertise in Jmeter is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Proficient in designing, writing, and executing test cases.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
