Automation Engineer Electroplating Plant

Job Summary:

KIE is seeking a skilled and hands-on Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and modify

  PLC programs

  (especially

  Siemens PLC

  ) for electroplating automation processes.
• Develop and maintain

  SCADA systems

  for monitoring and controlling plant operations.
• Perform

  electrical wiring and panel building

  for control systems and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot

  electrical and automation issues

  to reduce downtime.
• Ensure the correct operation of control systems and integrate new equipment as needed.
• Work with maintenance and production teams to optimize cycle times and improve plant efficiency.
• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
• Maintain documentation related to PLC logic, SCADA screens, and electrical circuits.
• Train and guide operators or technicians on the proper use of automated systems.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards for electrical systems and controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in

  Electrical / Electronics / Automation Engineering

  .
• Strong experience with

  Siemens PLCs

  (S7-300/400/1200/1500 series preferred).
• Proficiency in

  PLC Programming

  ,

  Ladder Logic

  , and

  Function Block Diagram

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  SCADA systems

  (WinCC, Wonderware, or similar).
• Deep knowledge of

  electrical wiring

  , panel design, and instrumentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in electrical and automation systems.
• Experience in

  industrial automation in surface finishing or plating processes

  is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or surface finishing environment.
• Previous experience in setting up or maintaining an

  automatic electroplating line

  is highly desirable.
