Academic qualification

• Essential:

  ITI/ Diploma/ Degree in mechanical engineering with Certification in AutoCAD.

Soft skills

• Soft spoken and should have good communication skills (any specific communication area such as written or verbal or both).

Primary Responsibilities

• To prepare P& I D, layout, foundation, software like AUTOCAD after receipt of new orders ensuring to meet the design parameters.
• To revise or modify the drawings of existing plants as and when required as per client’s comments
• To create standardized and store P & I D, layouts & foundation drawings for various plants with same capacity range based on Similar Plant Supplies for reference and archival value ensuring utilization of the same with 5 to 10% changes.
• To manage timely dispatch of drawings or revised drawings maintaining records of the same
• To ensure timely submission of the modified drawings to all the other departments concerned with post approval and maintain records of the same
• To maintain records related to submission of drawings to client and production and receipt of old drawings and labeling them as obsolete drawings.
• To ensure timely preparation of drawings of miscellaneous components as per the requirements of various departments.
• Generating drawings in AUTOCAD of various tracings available with design.
• To maintain records of existing drawings.
• Drawing of Mechanical parts such as Flanges and Piping & Pipe fittings as fabricated on production shop floor and as required by the production or service department.
• Making as made drawings in soft form for piping and components.
