Job Title: Assistant Spa Manager
Location: Goa
Reporting To: Spa Manager / Centre Head
Department: Operations

Job Summary:

The Assistant Spa Manager at Ode Spa Wellness will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting the Spa Manager, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction, managing the team effectively, and achieving defined sales and revenue targets. The role requires a combination of leadership, operational excellence, and a strong focus on sales performance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:

  • Support the Spa Manager in the smooth daily operations of the spa outlet.
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and hygiene protocols are followed.
  • Monitor staff performance and schedule shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
  • Handle customer concerns, queries, or complaints promptly and professionally.

Sales & Revenue:

  • Meet or exceed individual and outlet sales targets (services, memberships, and retail products).
  • Drive team performance by setting daily/weekly sales goals and tracking achievements.
  • Motivate and train staff to upsell and cross-sell services and retail products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and implement local promotions and campaigns.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain a welcoming, clean, and luxurious spa environment.
  • Monitor client feedback and implement action plans for continuous improvement.

Team Management:

  • Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating spa therapists, front desk staff, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, performance feedback, and sales focus.
  • Support staff development through coaching and on-the-job training.

Inventory & Reporting:

  • Monitor and manage stock levels of spa products and consumables.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales, bookings, and client data.
  • Generate weekly and monthly performance reports (sales, customer feedback, etc.) for review with management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Customer satisfaction ratings and repeat client ratio.
  • Staff productivity and training completion.
  • Inventory accuracy and shrinkage control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Hospitality, Wellness Management, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a spa or wellness outlet, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets in a service-oriented industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and wellness trends.
  • Proficiency in using spa software and MS Office tools.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
