Accounts Manager – Accounts Receivables (Hotel Industry) - Finance - Assistant Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to handle Accounts Receivables operations within the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using hotel management software such as IDS, WINHMS, or similar systems, with strong knowledge of hotel billing, invoicing, and GST compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor accounts receivables across all corporate, OTA, and B2B clients.

Generate and verify tax invoices, proforma invoices, and credit notes through hotel management systems.

Ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of payments against outstanding invoices.

Maintain follow-ups with clients for payment collection, documentation, and dispute resolution.

Prepare consolidated invoices and supporting bills as per client requirements.

Ensure compliance with GST regulations for hotel sales, including SAC/HSN codes and applicable rates.

Coordinate with the front office and sales teams for billing accuracy and guest folio closures.

Maintain ledger records and provide timely reports to management.

Assist in internal and statutory audits related to AR and billing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in the hotel or hospitality industry.

Hands-on experience with hotel accounting software like IDS Next, WINHMS, Opera, or similar.

Strong understanding of GST related to hotel services (room tariffs, banquet, F&B).

Knowledge of invoicing formats, payment follow-ups, PO processes, and tax compliance.

Proficient in MS Excel, Tally (optional), and documentation.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Hospitality Finance.

Prior experience in handling multi-property accounting or chain hotel setups is a plus.
