Artificial Intelligence Engineer

EQL Global AB is seeking talented AI Engineers Intern to join our remote India-based team for a 6-month unpaid internship. This role is ideal if you have completed or are completing a Master’s in AI, and want hands-on experience with large language models, prompt engineering, and financial analytics. Outstanding interns may be offered a full-time remote position after the internship with industry competitive salary and compensation.

What You’ll Do

• Build solution by using LLM to extract structured data from company annual and quarterly reports

• Test and fine-tune LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, Llama) for finance-related tasks

• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows and prompt strategies

• Apply web scraping and support development of financial modeling tools

Eligibility & Requirements

• Master’s degree (completed or ongoing) in AI/Machine Learning/Data Science

• Strong proficiency in Python and core ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)

• Knowledge of Claude, OpenAI, and Llama models, and prompt engineering

• Experience with web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy)

• Understanding of finance fundamentals and interest in analytics/automation

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate)

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or cloud platforms

• Some knowledge of MLOps, agentic AI, or financial data APIs
