Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Animation Artist to produce high-quality animations for our educational short videos and animated content. The ideal candidate will be proficient in animation software, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to work collaboratively with the content team to create visually appealing, effective, and engaging educational animations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, animate, and produce high-quality 2D or 3D animations for short educational videos.
• Collaborate with the scriptwriters and production team to understand the visual direction and animation requirements.
• Develop storyboards, character designs, and other visual assets based on the script and creative brief.
• Ensure that animations are aligned with the video’s tone, style, and educational objectives.
• Integrate sound effects, voice-overs, and music to enhance the animation experience.
• Revise and refine animations based on feedback from the production team and stakeholders.
• Work within established timelines to ensure animation deadlines are met.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in animation, design, and technology to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, Blender, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Strong experience in creating both 2D and 3D animations.
• A good understanding of storyboarding, character design, and visual storytelling.
• Strong knowledge of animation principles, timing, and pacing.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into visually engaging animations.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and an understanding of visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team and take constructive feedback.
• Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in creating educational or explainer videos.
• Experience with motion graphics and 3D modeling is a plus.
• Familiarity with Celtx or WriterDuet (for script collaboration) is an advantage.
• A portfolio showcasing previous animation work, particularly in educational content.
