Android Developer

About the role:

We are looking for a strong experience Android Mobile App Developer who builds, enhances and supports next generation Mobile applications using Android UI frameworks/SDK with very strong at Coding, bug fixing from scratch and should have worked hands-on in Android Mobile App development life cycle ascend to End single handed multi hat role in an early-stage tech start-up highly scalable Tech Product Development.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build applications for the Android platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design and ship new features.
• Fixing application bugs before the final release.
• Publishing application on Google Play Store.
• Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in building Android applications using Android SDK.
• Proficient in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back- end services.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices.
• Ability to understand and integrate third party libraries.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git and SVN.
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.

Location & Commitments:

Permanent full-time role based at our Ahmedabad, Gujarat office Monday – Friday
