Position: Director-US Accounts Company: MYCPE ONE Location: Any of the MYCPE One Branches Shift: 5 PM IST-2 AM IST Work Model: Work From Office Profile Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Director – US Accounting (Practice Lead) to spearhead our US Accounting practice. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in US GAAP, iGAAP, and IFRS frameworks, with over 10+ years of experience in core accounting, financial reporting, and leadership roles across outsourced accounting services. The role demands strategic thinking, a hands-on approach, and the ability to lead large, cross-functional offshore teams while ensuring high service quality and compliance. Job Responsibilities: Leadership & Practice Management: Lead the US Accounting practice. Oversee client delivery, stakeholder management, and operational governance. Drive growth through strategic client onboarding, relationship management, and capability building. Technical Oversight: Review and ensure accuracy of US corporate and personal tax returns. Supervise preparation and review of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Deep knowledge in ASC 842 (Lease Accounting), ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), Consolidation, and Transfer Pricing. Maintain oversight of monthly and year-end close processes. Process & Transition Excellence: Lead financial process transitions and client onboarding across industries. Set up, document, and review SOPs to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables. Implement and optimize accounting technologies. Strategic Advisory & Client Relations: Act as a trusted financial advisor to clients, delivering strategic recommendations and insights. Strengthen client relationships and identify new opportunities for expansion and value delivery. Team Development & Resource Management: Mentor, guide, and develop talent; lead career planning and performance development. Conduct effective capacity planning, workload balancing, and resource optimization. Champion change management and team engagement during transformation or scale-up phases. Job Requirements: Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s in Commerce or equivalent. Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Dip IFRS (ACCA UK); CPA preferred. Experience: 10+ years in accounting and financial reporting. Minimum 5+ years in Public Accounting (preferably in India). Hands-on experience in US GAAP and IFRS reporting environments. Demonstrated success in managing outsourced accounting delivery models and transitions. Core Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills.
