Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative WordPress Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain a clean, fast-loading, and responsive static website using WordPress . The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress CMS, theme customization, and basic front-end development skills. This role does not require complex database-driven functionality or dynamic content management—focus will be on developing visually appealing, SEO-friendly, and user-friendly static pages. Key Responsibilities: Develop a static website using WordPress CMS with a strong focus on design and performance. Customize WordPress themes and templates based on brand guidelines and content structure. Convert design mockups (Figma, XD, PSD, etc.) into fully functional WordPress pages. Optimize websites for speed , SEO , and mobile responsiveness . Implement basic animations and smooth transitions where necessary. Ensure website is secure, backed up, and up-to-date with the latest WordPress version. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues or bugs promptly. Coordinate with the content, design, and marketing teams for updates or improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in WordPress development (especially static websites). Good command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and basic PHP Preferable. Experience with WordPress page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg. Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Familiarity with SEO best practices for on-page optimization. Ability to work with minimal plugins to ensure lean, fast websites. Basic understanding of image optimization and CDN setup. Portfolio of past WordPress sites (especially static or portfolio-type websites).
