Role Overview

Head of Visual Merchandising

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the

  end-to-end visual merchandising strategy

  across India and UAE retail networks.
• Lead

  store layout planning, furniture zoning, display flow, and seasonal VM updates

  in line with the brand’s design language.
• Manage VM rollouts for

  new store launches

  , renovations, and key promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate closely with

  marketing, design, operations, and category teams

  to ensure alignment of VM with brand objectives.
• Ensure

  consistency in store presentation standards

  , signage, POS materials, and brand storytelling across regions.
• Build and lead a team of

  regional VM professionals and field visual merchandisers

  , driving performance, innovation, and operational discipline.
• Monitor and evaluate

  store-level execution

  through regular audits and feedback loops.
• Drive

  customer engagement

  through well-curated displays, lifestyle setups, and localized adaptations where relevant.
• Work closely with vendors for

  fixture procurement, rollout logistics

  , and cost management.
• Stay ahead of

  industry trends

  , competitor benchmarking, and emerging retail display innovations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 15+ years of experience in

  Visual Merchandising

  , with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in

  furniture retail, home décor, or lifestyle retail

  .
• Proven success in managing large-scale VM programs across geographies.
• Expertise in

  space planning, planogramming, design execution

  , and team leadership.
• Hands-on knowledge of design tools like

  SketchUp, CorelDRAW, Adobe Creative Suite

  , or equivalent.
• Exceptional aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and understanding of customer behavior in-store.
• Willingness to

  travel frequently

  across India and the UAE for store visits and VM execution.
