As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in shaping the narrative and visual appeal of our videos, ensuring a high-quality and seamless final product. This position requires proficiency in video editing software, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through visual media. Responsibilities: Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, visually appealing videos that align with project goals and creative vision. Trim, cut, and arrange footage to create a cohesive and compelling story. Incorporate transitions, effects, and graphics to enhance video quality. Storyboarding and Script Review: Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and review scripts/storyboards. Provide input on the visual elements, pacing, and overall storytelling approach. Audio Editing: Edit and synchronize audio tracks, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects, to enhance the overall audio-visual experience. Ensure proper audio levels, clarity, and consistency. Colour Correction and Grading: Perform colour correction and grading to enhance the visual appeal of videos. Maintain a consistent and aesthetically pleasing colour palette. File Management: Organize and manage video files, ensuring a systematic and accessible file structure. Collaborate with the production team to maintain an efficient workflow. Requirements: Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other industry-standard tools. Understanding of storytelling principles and visual composition. Knowledge of audio editing and sound design principles. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a creative team environment. Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and incorporate feedback.
