Job Title: Video Editor (Trend-Savvy, Social Media Focused) Company: Candidmen Fashion Pvt Ltd – Men’s Fashion Rental Location: Jayanagar, Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Mid-Level Preferred Role Overview We're looking for a creative, fast-thinking Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling through video and understands the pulse of social media platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and customer-centric video content. You'll work closely with our content, marketing, and design teams to create scroll-stopping visuals that build our brand and drive engagement. Edit high-quality short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, and customer success stories. Stay updated with social media and fashion content trends; implement those styles (e.g., jump cuts, transitions, trending audios, captions, etc.). Collaborate on concept development and shoot planning. Edit testimonial videos and stylized customer experiences in a compelling, emotional format. Add relevant effects, background music, motion graphics, subtitles, and transitions. Ensure brand consistency in tone, style, and messaging. Optimize content for different platforms (aspect ratios, duration, formats). What You Bring 2+ years of experience editing content for digital platforms (specially fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands). Strong portfolio showcasing Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, and review/testimonial videos. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar tools. Understanding of social platform algorithms, hooks, and content pacing. Ability to turn around content quickly while maintaining quality. Bonus: Basic knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and graphic animation. Nice to Have Experience in fashion or D2C (direct-to-consumer) brand content.
