Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support high-performance computing (HPC) clusters.
• Deep understanding of HPC systems, including CPU/GPU architecture, scalable storage, high-bandwidth interconnects, and cloud-based architectures.
• Generate hardware BOMs for HPC clusters, manage vendor relations, and oversee hardware release activities.
• Configure Linux OS for HPC systems.
• Interpret project specifications and performance requirements at both subsystem and system levels.
• Ensure timely project deliveries aligned with program goals.
• Support the release of new products to manufacturing and end customers with high-quality documentation, scripts, and golden images.
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in:
• HPC systems and clusters
• Linux systems (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu)
• HPC hardware: servers, GPUs, networking, storage, BIOS & BMC
• TCP/IP fundamentals and protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP)
• Scripting experience in Shell and Python
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Salt, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience with storage setup and maintenance
• Hands-on with SystemD, PXE booting, and Linux HA
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git-based repositories, Docker, Singularity
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana
• Experience with Apache/Nginx, HAProxy, load balancing, and application routing
• Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Educational Qualification: BE/BTech, MCA, MSc, or MS (Mandatory)
