Responsibilities: - Develop Statistical/Machine Learning models/analysis for Merchandising and Planning Business problems - Play a key role in all stages of the Data science project life cycle - Collaborate with Product Management and Business teams to gain Business understanding and collect requirements - Identify necessary data sources and automate the collection process - Conduct pre-processing and exploratory data analysis - Evaluate and interpret results, presenting findings to stakeholders and business leaders - Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to deploy models into production systems when applicable Requirements and Skills: - Demonstrated experience in delivering technical solutions using Time Series/Machine Learning techniques - Proficient in applied Statistical skills, including familiarity with Statistical tests, distributions, etc. - Strong expertise in applied Machine Learning skills such as Time Series, Regression Analysis, Supervised and Unsupervised Learning - Proficient Programming Skills in Python and database query languages like SQL, with additional familiarity with Snowflake & Databricks being advantageous - Experience with time series forecasting techniques like ARIMA, Prophet, Deep AR - Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Plotly, Business intelligence tools like PowerBI, Tableau - Excellent communication and presentation abilities - Previous experience in the Retail industry Responsibilities: - Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes - Preprocess structured and unstructured data - Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns - Develop predictive models and machine-learning algorithms - Employ ensemble modeling techniques - Utilize data visualization methods to present information effectively - Propose actionable solutions and strategies to address business challenges - Collaborate with engineering and product development teams,
