Structural Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop structural drawings, plans and 3D models based on the specifications and inputs provided by structural engineers and architects.
• Design structural components such as columns, beams, slabs, footings and frames for RCC and steel structures.
• Use design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, STAAD Pro, etc.) to prepare detailed layouts and design documentation.
• Modify designs based on feedback from engineers or clients and ensure accuracy in every revision.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP and civil teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Maintain design documentation, drawing registers and revision logs.
• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs, BOQs and construction details when required.
• Ensure all designs meet relevant building codes, safety standards and structural requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural Design.
• 2–5 years of experience in structural design and drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis/design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, Revit).
• Sound understanding of RCC and steel structures.
• Familiarity with Indian Standards (IS codes) and relevant structural design norms.
• Strong attention to detail, drafting accuracy and layout clarity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-rise, commercial or industrial structure design.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Basic knowledge of site execution practices is an added advantage.
