Summary:-

We are seeking skilled E3D Structural Steel Modellers with 5+years of experience to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in 3D modelling and extraction using MicroStation, contributing to the design and development of structural steel components for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and model structural steel designs using E3D software.
• Perform extraction of structural drawings and details from 3D models.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to modelling and extraction processes.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the integrity and precision of models.
• Assist in resolving design and modelling issues as they arise.
• Capable of reading and understanding the Structure & Support Module in E3D
• Know to use the E3D Structural module to create the layouts, views, sections and connections details etc.
• Know to use the E3D draw module to create the detail drawings for Pipe Supports for fabrication
• Know to review the supports and associated systems in Navis works to analyze and resolve the clashes
• Coordinate with different disciplines for necessary updates / modifications
• Proficient in extracting the Bill of Materials (BOM) for each drawing to ensure accurate material procurement and inventory management.
• Skilled in creating printouts of fabrication drawings in A1/A3 format, including associated BOM, to facilitate production and construction processes.
• Capable of comprehending and adhering to given schedules, effectively organizing tasks internally to meet project deadlines.
• Experience with coordination in multidisciplinary teams.
• Diligently tracks all team activities and progress, providing regular updates and reports to the Lead to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in structural steel modelling in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in E3D software.
• Familiarity with industry standards and practices related to structural design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
