Job Description

Responsibilities

1
Conduct aerodynamic simulations and analyses to optimize the drone's / UAV flight performance, stability, and efficiency.2Design and develop drone structures that are lightweight, durable, and capable of withstanding various operating conditions.3Utilize computer-aided design (CAD - Solidworks) software to create detailed and precise drone components and assemblies.4Evaluate and select appropriate materials for drone components based on performance requirements, cost considerations, and weight constraints.5Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate designs and make necessary improvements.6Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs can be effectively produced at scale while meeting quality standards.7Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in drone design and engineering processes.8Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.9Strong in engineering fundamentals: Structural and Aerodynamics.

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech/Masters – Mechanical / Structural / Aerospace Engineering (Top 50 in NIRF)

Good exposure of Structural Analysis, Aerodynamics, Airfoil design, Material calculations and Manufacturing process.
Strong hold on CAD and CAE.

Experience in Ansys and Matlab.

Working Experience in UAV / Drones sector.

Working experience in Solidworks, Ansys, Matlab.
