STP Operator

Job Title: STP Operator Location: Dehradun Salary: ₹10,000 - ₹15,000 per month Key Responsibilities: · Operate and maintain the STP to ensure optimal performance. · Monitor and record operational data, including flow rates, chemical usage, and effluent quality. · Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems. · Adjust controls to regulate flow rates, chemical dosages, and other operational parameters. · Conduct basic laboratory tests to assess water quality and adjust processes as necessary. · Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. · Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards. · Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and compliance reports. · Coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs or overhauls. · Assist in the preparation of reports on plant performance and improvement initiatives. · Respond to emergencies and system alarms in a timely and effective manner. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Experience in operating a Sewage Treatment Plant, preferably with a capacity of 300 KLD or more. · Basic understanding of wastewater treatment processes and environmental regulations. · Ability to perform basic laboratory tests for water quality analysis. · Willingness to work in different shifts.
