Job Description

Job Description: Factory Store Keeper

Position: Factory Store Keeper

Location: IMT MANESAR SEC-7

Department: Stores/Warehouse

Reporting To: Factory Manager / Admin staff

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products.
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage and deterioration.
Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders when necessary.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records.
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
Implement safety and security procedures within the store area.
Prepare reports on stock movements, shortages, and discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
Proven experience as a storekeeper in a factory or manufacturing environment.
Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy items.
Standing for extended periods during inventory checks.
