Sr.Video Editor

We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist to join our vibrant kids' fashion brand FirstCry.com. You will be responsible for crafting high impact fashion videos that engage parents and delight kids. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in video editing and motion graphics but also stays ahead of trends in AI-generated visuals, AI prompt, and social-first video formats.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit high-quality fashion videos for kidswear campaigns, lookbooks, product drops, social media, and seasonal launches.

• Collaborate with stylists, Videographers, and the content team to bring brand stories to life.

• Design and animate eye-catching motion graphics tailored for kids’ fashion.

• Integrate AI-generated visuals and video elements using tools like Kling AI, Google Veo, Higgsfield AI or similar AI Image and Video generating tools.

• Ideate and execute creative prompts for AI image/video generation for campaigns.

• Repurpose long-form footage into engaging reels, stories, and shorts optimized for Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.

• Organize and manage video assets, backups, and a creative reference library.

• Maintain logical sequencing, pacing, and continuity in edits.

• Keep up with trends in kids’ content, video formats, editing styles, and viral visual language.

• Maintain edit logs, project sheets, and monthly reports.

Requirements:

Proven experience in fashion or lifestyle video editing – kidswear experience is a plus.

• Strong command over Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).

• Familiarity with AI-based creative tools.

• Excellent sense of timing, music selection, and visual storytelling.

• Strong understanding of platform-native content formats (Reels, Shorts, Stories, etc.)

• Ability to conceptualize and execute with minimal supervision.

• Bonus: Understanding of child-safe content guidelines and aesthetic preferences for parents.

Educational Qualifications- Degree in Film Studies, Animation, Design, or related creative field.

Years of Experience- 2-4 yrs. in video editing & motion graphics.
