Sr. Purchase Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Purchase Engineer

Location: Gandhidham
Salary: ₹8 LPA
Experience: 4+ Years (Steel Industry Preferred)
Mode of Selection: Only Personal Interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage procurement activities for raw materials, especially in the steel sector.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for material requirements.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve supplier issues promptly.
• Prepare and present purchase reports to senior management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the steel industry.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with prior experience in steel procurement will be given preference.
• Must be willing to work from Gandhidham location.
