Software Applications Supervisor for a US based company in Pune

We are currently seeking an experienced Software Applications Supervisor to join our Engineering IT team. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for leading teams of local developers, including .NET web application development, Oracle development, and Process Flow development using IBM-BPM.

Responsibilities

-         Supervise and mentor teams of local developers

-         Ensure on-time delivery of requests and help to escalate and resolve issues

-         Facilitate a positive work culture and team approach

-         Interface with supervisors of other regional development teams

-         Interface with analysts and coordinators who represent owners of business processes

-         Develop an understanding of Aptiv’s products and processes, and how they relate to the software applications that facilitate them

-         Perform hands-on development when needed

Qualifications

-        10+ years development experience

-         2+ years supervising other developers

-         Degree in Computer Science or comparable

-         Experience using .NET technologies (preferred C#)

-         Experience with .NET web development

-         Familiar with REST and Web Services

-         Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

-         Experience with Oracle Database

-         Experience with PL/SQL

-         Experience with Oracle Forms

-         Fluent in English

-         Familiar with source control technologies (Azure DevOps, Team Foundation, git hub, etc.)

-         Team player with excellent communication skills

-         Understanding of Agile methodologies
