Site Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Site Engineer to manage and monitor day-to-day construction activities at our project sites in Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda. The ideal candidate will ensure quality, compliance, and timely execution of work as per the project plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing as per approved drawings and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily with contractors, labor teams, and supervisors to maintain workflow and resolve on-site issues.
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines at the construction site.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, to guide execution.
• Ensure resource allocation (labor, materials, machinery) is optimized and available on time.
• Assist in material planning and procurement, keeping track of stock and delivery schedules.
• Maintain daily site logs, labor records, and prepare DPRs (Daily Progress Reports).
• Coordinate with the architects and consultants for design clarifications and updates.
• Support in conducting quality checks, including concrete testing, brickwork, plastering, etc.
• Identify and report any technical or construction delays with recommended solutions.
• Participate in project review meetings and report milestones or bottlenecks.
• Ensure that all construction activities comply with building codes and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in building construction and site coordination.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and understanding of civil construction practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to relocate or travel between Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda as per site needs.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
