Site Civil Engineer

Coordination with Office and Contractor Maintain regular communication between the site and head office. Coordinate effectively with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow. Address site issues promptly by escalating to the office when necessary. Work Planning and Execution Plan daily and weekly work schedules in alignment with project timelines. Monitor on-site activities to ensure adherence to work plans. Adjust schedules proactively in case of delays or unforeseen events. Drawings and Documentation Collect updated drawings and design documents from the office. Ensure all work on-site follows the most recent revisions. Maintain proper documentation of all plans and changes. Quality Control Perform regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards. Report and rectify any non-conformities in construction. Communication with Office Provide daily updates on progress, issues, and manpower. Share site photos, records, and reports as needed. Attend coordination meetings with office staff (online or in-person). Site Cleanliness and Safety Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the construction site. Implement and enforce site safety protocols and PPE usage. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings. Customer Interaction and Feedback Engage with clients or end-users during site visits. Collect feedback and communicate it to relevant departments. Ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly. Materials Procurement and Inventory Coordinate with office for timely material requisitions. Verify delivery, quality, and quantity of materials received. Maintain inventory logs to prevent shortages or overstock. Record Keeping and Reporting Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, labor, equipment, and materials. Prepare daily progress reports, safety logs, and site diary. Archive site photos, inspection records, and correspondence.
