Simulation Lead

Company Description:

We are a private company that designs and develops propulsion system such as Rocket Engines system for commercialization.

Our company aims to fill the gap in propulsion technology R&D, including high-thrust, high-Isp engines and micro combustors.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Simulation Lead located in Pune. The Simulation Lead will be responsible for leading simulation projects, developing and validating simulation models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Mathematical & Numerical Modeling: Skilled in developing mathematical models and implementing numerical schemes (FDM, FEM, FVM, etc.). CFD & FEA Tools: Turbulence & Multiphase Modeling: Experience in modeling complex flow phenomena, turbulence, cavitation, multiphase, or compressible flows..

Expertise in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, structural mechanics, and applied physics. Additional responsibilities include analyzing simulation results, documenting findings, and continuously improving simulation processes and methodologies. Aerospace / Aeronautics projects.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in simulation modeling, model validation, and result analysis

• Proficient in using simulation software tools and techniques, ANSYS

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

• Ability to lead and manage projects effectively, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• Experience in a similar role or industry is a plus
