Shopify Senior Tech Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the development team in implementing Shopify custom functionalities (e.g., custom forms, payment gateway integrations, etc.)
• Provide architectural advice and technical direction to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions
• Troubleshoot technical roadblocks and propose best practices
• Mentor and support a junior Shopify developer
• Suggest efficient ways to achieve specific platform goals

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify development
• Deep knowledge of Shopify APIs, custom apps, and Liquid templating
• Experience with custom plugin development and third-party service integration
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to junior developers
• Strong problem-solving skills and a consulting mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with pet/D2C or eCommerce brands
• Familiarity with performance optimization on Shopify storefronts
• Published shopify plugins perviously
• Did Hubspot integration or migration from shopify

Compensation & Engagement

• Time Commitment:

  5 hours/week

• Pay Range:

  ₹15,000 – ₹25,000/month (based on experience)

  Remote
